As of 2023, Sugarglass produces theatre co-created by director/designer duo Marc Atkinson Borrull & Molly O’Cathain. Our ongoing collaboration aims to create richly developed work over longer time frames.

We generate new work with a focus on radically contemporary adaptations of classic plays, such as our 2023 commission of Ciara Elizabeth Smyth’s reimagining of Chekhov’s Three Sisters.

Individually, our work has been seen at The Abbey Theatre, The Olympia, The Gaiety, Dublin Theatre Festival, Galway International Arts Festival, The Royal Opera House, Irish National Opera & Off-Broadway.

In June 2024 we will present the World Premiere of Tempesta by Deirdre Kinahan at the Cork Midsummer Festival.
